Yazoo Reconnected Tour 2008
Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke reformed their Eighties band Yazoo for a series of worldwide concerts and a special edition CD set entitled “In Your Room”. The Reconnected Tour has now begun in Europe with the first concerts having been performed in Denmark and Germany to rave reviews from fans and critics alike.
Yazoo only recorded two albums in the early eighties and then disbanded. However the group spawned a large following from many die hard fans due to the innovative music produced by Vince Clark and the powerhouse voice of Alison Moyet.
Originally Yazoo announced that they would only be performing a set of 5 UK concerts. Following the interest that this attracted from loyal fans, the “Reconnected Tour” has since gone on to include many more concert dates in greater Europe and the United States.

In Your Room CD Set
'In Your Room', the highly anticipated Yazoo 4 disc box set was released in the UK & Europe on the 26th May 2008.
The box set features remastered and 5.1 mixes of both Yazoo’s classic albums ‘Upstairs At Eric’s’ and ‘You And Me Both’, b-sides and remixes.
In addition the accompanying DVD features classic Yazoo television performances from the BBC, promotional videos and a new short film containing exclusive new interviews with Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet.
This was proceeded by a 12″ vinyl release of ‘Nobody's Diary’ on the 12 May 2008 and various promo items that have been made available on eBay.

The Yazoo Project
The fact that Alison and Vince have decided to do this tour is a shock for most of us who never expected that they would ever reform or produce any more music - let alone go on tour!
For those of us who are lucky enough to be able to attend a Yazoo concert then this is probably the first time that we will have ever seen Yazoo live after being fans on their music for so many years.
Yazoo has only ever toured once in 1982 and has never even performed any of the music from You & Me Both.
